The artist Hayan Kam Nakache and the printer Maud Bosset have been making collaborative works since 2016. By creating the encounter between drawing, painting and offset printing, they experiment with new techniques of plate engraving and obtain new interactions between chemistry and colour. This edition is unique, the facsimile impossible. By creating originals on press, without files or sketches, Hayan and Maud develop an application intimately close to the machine, without screen or computer, where water and colour give birth to the image.

In conversation with publisher Izet Sheshivari, the artist and the printer provide insights into the process and discuss the potential of this extraordinary technique.

Damas Blanche, published by Boabooks, is exhibited and offered for sale together with some earlier editions from the same publisher.
